(a) There is an "ADL FAIL" indicator found to the left of the alphanumeric display. When it comes on, it shows that the ADL has a failure or there is an unusual condition.

Some systems will have more than one LRU for which it is necessary for software installation. These LRUs must be independently loaded through selection on the data loader LRU selector switch, found on the P11 first observer's console panel (bookshelf). If it is necessary for the two LRUs to have the same software, the diskette must be put in again after the switch is set to the second LRU. If it is necessary to put different software in the two LRUs, then put in the different diskette after the switch is set to the second LRU. For each system that it is necessary to do a software installation, there will be one or more diskettes.
