 G.  System Test
 S 865-088
 (1)  Prepare for the left VOR navigation system test:
 (a)  
Push the NAV RAD key on the left CDU to show the NAV RADIO page.

 (b)  
Put the approved VOR test frequency into the CDU scratch pad.


 S 735-089
 (2)  Do the system test for the left VOR navigation system:
 (a)  
Push the line select key (LSK) adjacent to the VOR L display.

 (b)  
Make sure these results occur: 1) On the flight interphone speakers and headsets: a) VOR sound (1020 Hz tone) is heard. 2) On the captain's ND: a) The course deviation bar is aligned with the course

 arrow. b) The narrow bearing pointer shows 180 |2 degrees.

 (c)  
Set the VOR selector on the ramp test set to 90.0, 180.0 and then 270.0 degrees.

 (d)  
Make sure these results occur:
 1) On the captain's ND:


 a)  The narrow bearing pointer shows 270 |2, 0 |2, and then 90 |2 degrees.

 (e)  
Set the VOR selector on the ramp test set to 000.0 degrees.

 (3)  Prepare the CDU to do the system test for the right VOR navigation system:
 (a)  
Push the NAV RAD key on the right CDU to show the NAV RADIO page.

 (b)  
Put the approved VOR test frequency into the CDU scratch pad.


 S 735-092
 (4)  Do the system test for the right VOR navigation system:
 (a)  
Push the LSK adjacent to the VOR R display.

 (b)  
Make sure these results occur: 1) On the flight interphone speakers and headsets: a) VOR sound (1020 Hz tone) is heard. 2) On the first officer's ND: a) The course deviation bar is aligned with the course

Set the VOR selector on the ramp test set to 90.0, 180.0 and then 270.0 degrees.

 (d)  
Make sure these results occur:
 1) On the first officer's ND:


 a)  The wide bearing pointer shows 270 |2, 0 |2, and then 90 |2 degrees.

 (e)
Set the VOR selector on the ramp test set to 000.0 degrees.


 H.  EIU Interface Test
 S 735-125
 (1)  Do the EIU interface test:
 (a)  
Open these circuit breakers:
 1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) 7B21 NAV RADIO VOR R, or


 NAV RADIO MKR VOR R b) 7F9 EIU L c) 7F15 EIU R

 (b)  
Set the source select switch for the EIU on the captain's source select module to the C position.

 (c)  
Make sure these results occur: 1) On the captain's ND: a) The course deviation bar is aligned with the course

 arrow. b) The narrow bearing pointer shows 180 |2 degrees.

 (d)  
Open this circuit breaker:

 1)  P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel a) 7A9 NAV RADIO MKR VOR L

 (e)  
Close this circuit breaker:
 1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel


 a)  7B21 NAV RADIO VOR R, or NAV RADIO MKR VOR R

 (f)  
Set the source select switch for the EIU on the first officer's source select module to the C position.

 (g)  
Make sure these results occur: 1) On the first officer's ND: a) The course deviation bar is aligned with the course

 arrow. b) The wide bearing pointer shows 180 |2 degrees.

 (h)  
Close these circuit breakers:


 1)  P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel a) 7A9 NAV RADIO MKR VOR L b) 7F9 EIU L c) 7F15 EIU R
