 (7)  Put the diskette into the data loader.
 NOTE: If there is a diskette in the data loader, push the eject key
____ and then put the diskette back into the data loader.

 (8)  These items will occur after 15 seconds:
 (a)  
a "<" will show adjacent to the DATA LOADER prompt.

 (b)  
The "NO COMM" will go out of view.

 1)  Do these steps if "NO COMM" does not go out of view (this means that there is no communication between the FMC and the data loader): a) Make sure the selector switch for the data loader is
 set to the correct FMC position. b) Make sure the data loader has power. c) Make sure you use a 3-1/2 inch high density diskette. d) Make sure the diskette is a formatted diskette and
 contains the correct configuration file. e) Make sure the diskette is not write protected. f) Make sure the diskette is not full.

 (9)  Push the LSK adjacent to the <DATA LOADER prompt.
 (a)  DOWNLOAD IN PROGRESS indication will show on the MCDU.
 NOTE: The IDENT page will show on the other MCDU during the
____ data download. You can not get access to other pages when a download is in progress.

 (10) After approximately 40 seconds the DOWNLOAD COMPLETE replaces the DOWNLOAD IN PROGRESS indication.
 (a)  Do these steps if the DOWNLOAD ABORTED replaces the DOWNLOAD IN PROGRESS indication: 1) Push the eject key to remove the diskette from the data
 loader. 2) Make sure the diskette is not full. 3) Put the diskette into the data loader and do the download
 procedure again. 4) If the download fails 3 times one after another, get a new diskette.

 (11) Do this download procedure again for the other FMC.
 NOTE: You can use the same diskette if it is not full.

 (12) After you get the BITE data from the right and left FMC, set the selector switch for the data loader to the NORMAL position.
