C. Procedure

(1) Make sure these circuit breakers are open with DO-NOT-CLOSE tags attached:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7B10 NAV RADIO ATC L
2) 7B22 NAV RADIO ATC R
3) 7B23 NAV RADIO ATC ANTENNA SW

(2) Install the antenna transfer relay (Fig 401):
NOTE: Make sure the two ATC antenna switches have the same mod

level of the same part number.
(a)
Connect connectors DB871A, DB871B, DB871C and DB871D to the bottom antenna transfer relay (B871).
(b)
Connect connectors DB872A, DB872B, DB872C, and DB872D to the top antenna transfer relay (B872).
NOTE: Align the antenna transfer relay until the electrical
____ connector is on top.
(c) Install the screws, washers and nuts that attach the relay to the support bracket.

If it is removed, do this task to install the right Air Data Computer: "Air Data Computer Installation" (Ref 34-12-01/401).

If it is removed, do this task to install the left ATC Transponder: "ATC Transponder Installation" (Ref 34-53-02/401).

D. Prepare for the ATC Antenna Relay Switch Test

(1) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7B10 NAV RADIO ATC L
2) 7B22 NAV RADIO ATC R
3) 7B23 NAV RADIO ATC ANTENNA SW

(2) Set the transponder select switch on the ATC control panel to the applicable system (1 or L, 2 or R).
(a) Make sure the sequence that follows occurs: 1) All of the front panel LED indicators come on. 2) All of the LED indicators go off. 3) The green XPDR PASS indicator comes on.

If the applicable system antenna indicator is on, do the fault isolation procedure (FIM 34-53-00/101, Fig. 103).
(4)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).
