3) If the TO/GA switch is pressed twice by the pilot and go-around mode is able to engage, then the A/T EPR G/A mode will engage and remain engaged regardless of the autopilot request.
4) If a G/A is requested while the autopilot is engaged, A/T G/A is the selected mode. If the autopilot is not engaged at the time of a G/A request, then A/T EPR G/A is the selected mode.
5) If the TO/GA switch is pressed while in the A/T G/A mode, the A/T G/A transitions off and the A/T EPR G/A comes on.
6) If the A/T EPR G/A mode is engaged and the autopilot engages, then the G/A mode switches to A/T G/A.
7) The A/T G/A mode is reset if any of the following autopilot modes are selected: a) Autopilot altitude hold b) A/T VNAV discrete from the MCP transitions to true c) Thrust mode is requested d) Autopilot V/S mode is selected
Thrust mode
1) The thrust mode will be able to engage when the A/T is armed, there are no disabling states, when the FLCH or either of the A/T G/A modes go off while the TO or G/A thrust limits are still selected.
2) The thrust mode will be reset if A/T VNAV, FLCH or A/T G/A modes transition on. Also when speed mode is selected or the throttle stopper test fails.
Speed Mode
1) The speed mode will engage when the A/T VNAV mode is off, the A/P throttle retard is off, the FLCH or A/T G/A mode is off, the airplane is in the air. There is no go-around phase and the A/T is engaged.
2) The speed mode will be reset when the thrust mode is requested.
Flight Level Change (FLCH)
1) The flight level change mode is selected if there are no disabling states, the A/T is armed, the FLCH request is active, and there are no TO limits or the airplane is above 400 feet AGL.
