(1) Make sure these circuit breakers are open:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7D9 GND PROX WARN
2) D06 TERR DSPL

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE
_______ GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING COMPUTER. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUC-TORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE FROM YOUR BODY CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING COMPUTER.

Do this task to install the ground proximity warning computer: "Rack-Mounted Electrical/Electronic Module Installation" (AMM 20-11-22/401).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close these circuit breakers:

(2) S 744-033If it is your airline's policy to do a check of the terrain database version, then do this task: Verify the Terrain Database part number (AMM 34-46-00/201).
(3) S 744-031Make sure the green COMPUTER OK light on the front panel of the GPWC is on.
(4) S 864-036Do this task: GPWS - Operational Test (AMM 34-46-00/501).
(5) S 864-027Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

A. This subject has one task. The task is for the replacement of the light bulbs in the switch/indicator for the GPWS module. It is also necessary to do a test of the bulb operation.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7D9 GND PROX WARN
(b)
P6 Main Power Distribution Center
1) 6E23 FLT DK LIGHTS PANEL F/O

CAUTION: DO NOT USE PLIERS OR OTHER TOOLS TO REMOVE THE CAP
_______ ASSEMBLIES. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SWITCH CAP.
(2) Replace lamps:
(a)
Hold the cap assembly tightly on the two sides and pull the assembly out of the switch.
(b)
Turn the cap assembly to get access to the lamps.
(c)
Remove lamps from the cap assembly.
(d)
Install the replacement lamps.
(e)
Turn the cap and put the cap assembly into the switch.
