Ensure the Inertial Reference System (IRS) is powered up and functioning properly.
(d)
Power up the FMCS.
(e)
Press the <FMC prompt on both the left and right CDUs. If one of the CDUs are displaying the NAV DATA CROSSLOAD page this indicates a NAV DATA BASE mismatch between the two FMCS.
(f)
If this situation occurs, do the following:
1) Set the captain's NAV SOURCE SELECT switch to the FMC L position and the F/O's NAV SOURCE SELECT switch to the FMC R position.
2) Access the NAV DATA CROSSLOAD page on the CDU displaying the IDENT page, as follows: a) Press the LSK next to the INDEX prompt and make sure
that INIT/REF INDEX page is displayed. b) Press the LSK next to the MAINT prompt and make sure the MAINTENANCE INDEX page is displayed. c) Press the LSK next to the CROSSLOAD prompt and make sure the NAV DATA CROSSLOAD page is displayed.
3) Consult with proper airline department for the correct NAV DATA part number and determine the CDU which is displaying the correct part number. The part number will be displayed on the CROSSLOAD page.
4) Set the FMC MASTER switch to the position corresponding to the FMC which contains the correct part number.
