Set the mode select switch for the ND on the captain's EFIS control panel to the VOR position.
(d)
Set the mode select switch for the ND on the first officer's EFIS control panel to the VOR position.
(e)
Set the left ADF/VOR select switch on the captain's and the first officer's EFIS control panels to the VOR L position.
(f)
Set the right ADF/VOR select switch on the captain's and the first officer's EFIS control panels to the VOR R position.
F. Reception Test

(1) Do the prepare for the left VOR reception test:
(a)
Push the NAV RAD key on the left CDU until you find the NAV RADIO page.
(b)
Put the local VOR frequency into the PRESELECT area of the CDU display.
(c)
Put a course of 000 degrees into the PRESELECT area of the CDU display.

(2) Do the reception test for the left VOR navigation system:
(a)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to the VOR frequency.
(b)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to the course.

1) On the captain's ND: a) The course deviation bar and scale are in view. b) The course deviation bar shows the airplane's deviation
(left or right) from the set course (000 degrees). c) VOR L shows on the lower left corner of the NDs as the source receiver. d) The local VOR frequency shows on the lower left corner of the NDs. e) The set course (000 degrees) shows on the top right
corner of the NDs. f) The TO/FROM annunciator is in view. g) The narrow bearing pointer points to the local VOR
station.

(3) Do the prepare for the right VOR reception test:

Push the NAV RAD key on the right CDU until you find the NAV RADIO page.

Put the local VOR station frequency into the PRESELECT area of the CDU display.

G. Audio Test

(1) Prepare to do the audio test for the left VOR navigation system:
(a)
Push the NAV RAD key on the left or right CDU until you find the NAV RADIO page.
(b)
Put the local VOR frequency into the CDU scratch pad.
(c)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to the L VOR frequency.
1) Make sure the local VOR frequency shows on the lower left corner of the NDs.
(d)
Set the voice/range switch on the ACP to the R position.
(e)
Set the NAV AID switch on the ACP to the L VOR position.
