1. General_______
A. This subject has two tasks. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the ground proximity warning computer. The installation task also has a computer status check.
B. The ground proximity warning computer (X85) is found in the main equipment center on shelf No. 4 of the electronic equipment rack E1. All electrical connections are at the rear of the unit.

(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7D9 GND PROX WARN
2) D06 TERR DSPL

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE
_______ GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING COMPUTER. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUC-TORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE FROM YOUR BODY CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING COMPUTER.
(2) Do this task to remove the ground proximity warning computer: "Rack-Mounted Electrical/Electronic Module Removal" (AMM 20-11-22/401).
