(a) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel:
1) 7A5, TCAS

(2) Open the access door (117AL) of the electronics compartment to get to the TCAS computer (Ref 06-09-01/201).

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE
_______ TCAS COMPUTER. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TCAS COMPUTER.
(1)
Remove the TCAS computer (Ref 20-11-22/401).
(2)
Install dust caps on the electrical connectors.

(4) If you do not have the correct TCAS part number, do the TCAS software installation procedure (AMM 34-45-10/201).
E. TCAS Computer Test

(1) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel:
1) 7A5, TCAS

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

(3)
Do the TCAS Operational test (Ref 34-45-00/501).
(a)
Push the TEST switch on the front panel of the TCAS computer.
(b)
Make sure the green TCAS PASS light comes on after a few seconds.
F. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary
(AMM 24-22-00/201).
