Remove the DO-NOT CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel: 1) 7F22, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT PRI 2) 7F23, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT ALTN 3) AIRPLANES WITH THE "GND SAFETY RELAY" CIRCUIT BREAKER
INSTALLED AT PANEL GRID LOCATION 7H08; 7H08, GND SAFETY RELAY

(7) Push the INTERROGATE switch on the test set.
(a) Make sure the test set shows "no reply from xpdr".

(8) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel: 1) 7F22, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT PRI 2) 7F23, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT ALTN 3) AIRPLANES WITH THE "GND SAFETY RELAY" CIRCUIT BREAKER

(9) Push the INTERROGATE switch on the test set.
(a) Make sure the test set shows the correct transponder type.
NOTE: If the test set shows "no reply from xpdr", do a check
____ on the test antenna connections. Also, make sure the ATC system is serviceable.

(10) Do the Automatic Test as follows:
(a) Push the INTERROGATE switch and the test set will initiate and run a sequence of tests on the transponder.
NOTE: It will stop at any failed test. To continue push the TEST button.

NOTE: If there is a failure during the auto test sequence, the
____ test set will show the FAIL indication and automatically stops the test.
1) Make sure the ATC ID code is the same as the ATC ID code selected on the ATC control panel.
NOTE: If the identification switch on the ATC control
____ panel is pushed during the test, the ATC ID code will have an underscore.
2) Make sure the mode S address is the correct address for the applicable airplane.
3) Make sure the reported altitude agrees with the local field elavation shown on the captain's or first officer's altimeter.
NOTE: The reported altitude must be within | 125 feet of
____ captain's and first officer's altimeter (applicable for all the altitude reporting checks).
4) Make sure the peak power output is not less than 125W (ERP = 51.0 dBm) and not more than 500W (ERP = 57.0 dBm).
NOTE: Effective Radiated Power (ERP) is the product of the
____
antenna output power and antenna gain.
5) Make sure the receiver sensitivity, Minimum Threshold Level
(MTL), is -74 dBm |3 dBm. 6) Make sure the frequency deviation is less than | 1 MHz. 7) The test set automatically does a check on the MTL
difference between mode A and mode C. If the MTL value differences is greater than 1.0 dBm, the test set will show the FAIL indication and stops the test.

(11) Do the individual tests as follows:
(a) Set the ATC ID code on the ATC control panel to the code
compliment of the previous code.
NOTE: Compliment of the code is 7777 minus the code.____
EXAMPLE: If the code is 0340, its compliment is:
7777 - 0340 = 7437 Compliment
(b) Push the identification switch on the ATC control panel.
(c) Push the TEST switch on the test set to run ATCRBS/A test.
