Put the brace assembly (86) in position.
(g)
If necessary adjust the brace assembly (86). WARNING : WEAR GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE LOCKWIRE.
_______ CUT, REMOVE AND DISCARD THE LOCKWIRE AS YOU DO THE TASK. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT OR BLIND YOU.
1 Remove and discard the lockwire.

2 Loosen the locknut.
_
3 Adjust the rod end.
_
4 Tighten the locknut.
_
5 Make sure that the rod end is in safety.
_
R 6_ Safety the locknut with lockwire MISCELLANEOUS (Material No.R 19-010).
(h) Install the quick-release pin (85).

B. Installation of the Lavatory D
(1) Connect the potable and drain water connections.
(Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 25-43-41-991-015)
(a) Remove the blanking plugs and put the clamp (71) and the sleeve
(72) in position on the drain tube (70).
NOTE : Make sure that the end of the sleeve is in line with the
____ painted mark on the drain tube.
(b)
Tighten the clamp (71).
(c)
Put the bonding straps (65) and (68) in position and install the washer (66) and the nut (67) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

(d) Remove the blanking plugs and put the connection (69) in position. Tighten the connection.

(e)
Apply the BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-004) to the ends of the sleeve (72).
(f)
Remove the blanking plugs and put the potable water tube (62) in position. Tighten the connections (63) and (64).
(g)
Close the sanitary cabinet door (61).
(2) Install the door attachments. (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 25-43-41-991-021, 407/TASK 25-43-41-991-024)

(a)
Apply the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) to the floor pan inside the lavatory.
(b)
Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the screws (21).
(c)
Put the doorsill (22) in position and install the screws (21).
(d)
TORQUE the screws (21) to to between 0.37 and 0.42 m.daN (32.74 and 37.16 lbf.in).
(e)
Apply the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) (22) to the floor pan and the floor panel at the lavatory door opening.
R (f) Apply the BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-004)
(24) to the joint at the side wall (25) and the washbasin surround (26).
(3) Install the door and the pelmet.
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 25-43-41-991-020)
(a) Put the lavatory door (10) in position and install the washers
(12) and the screws (11).

(b) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector 7202VC-A (1).
(c) Put the pelmet (8) in position and tighten the screws (4).
NOTE : Make sure that the washers (5) are correctly positioned on____ the pelmet before tightening the screws.
(d) Install the washer (7) and the screw (6).
(e) Put the pelmet top (9) in position and install the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(4) Install the toilet assembly (Ref. TASK 38-31-41-400-001). Do not install the toilet shroud at this time.
(5) Install the emergency oxygen container (Ref. TASK 35-21-41-400-001).
(6) Install the trim panel in the AFT utility area (Ref. TASK 25-23-42-400-002).
(7) On the panel 25VU: - make sure that the NO SMOKING switch 190RH is in the OFF position, - make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position and the OFF light 5WL is on.
