(a)
Lock the door from inside the lavatory.
(b)
Lift the lavatory sign (141) and move the latch (142) until the indicator (143) shows that the door is not locked.
(c)
Open the lavatory door.
(d)
Close the lavatory door and move the latch (142) until the indicator (143) shows that the door is locked.
(e)
Close the lavatory sign (141).
(f)
Unlock the door from inside the lavatory.
(5)
Open and close the door to make sure that the door operates correctly.
(6)
Make sure that the lavatory auxiliary light is on.

E. Do an Operational Test of the Lavatory Systems
(1) Do an operational test of these water/waste systems:
-potable water system (Ref. TASK 38-12-00-710-002),
-waste/water drain system (Ref. TASK 38-32-00-710-002),
-toilet system (Ref. TASK 38-31-00-710-009).
NOTE : Leaks are not permitted.

Do a functional test of an air extraction point (Ref. TASK 21-23-00-720-002).

Do an operational test of these electrical systems:
-lavatory water heater (Ref. TASK 38-12-00-710-004),
-
passenger address system (Ref. TASK 23-73-00-710-022),

passenger oxygen system (Ref. TASK 35-23-00-710-001),
-
lavatory lighting (Ref. TASK 33-24-00-710-001),
-
lavatory lighted signs (Ref. TASK 33-26-00-710-001),
-
lavatory smoke detection (Ref. TASK 26-17-00-710-001),
-
lavatory call light (Ref. TASK 23-73-00-710-024).

Do a test of the lavatory door emergency access.

(a)
Lock the door from inside the lavatory.
(b)
Lift the lavatory sign (141) and move the latch (142) until the indicator (143) shows that the door is not locked.

Open the lavatory door.
(d)
Close the lavatory door and move the latch (142) until the indicator (143) shows that the door is locked.
(e)
Close the lavatory sign (141).
(f)
Unlock the door from inside the lavatory.

Open and close the door to make sure that the door operates correctly.
