R 2_ Loosen the locknut.
R 3_ Adjust the tie rod end until the quick-release pins (3) can
R easily be installed.
R 4_ Tighten the locknut.
R 5_ Make sure that the tie rod end is in safety.
R 6_ Safety the locknut with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
R (c) Put the pelmet (1) in position and install the screws (2).
R (4) Connect the power supply
R (Ref. Fig. 401C/TASK 25-31-41-991-038-B)
R CAUTION : REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU_______
R CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
R IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR WHEN YOU CONNECT THE WIRES YOU WILL
R CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
R (a) Refer to the match marks and install the wires (46) and the nuts
R (45).
R (b) Install the cover plate (43) with the screws (44).
R (c) Put the clamps (49) and (50) in position and install the washer
R (48) and the bolt (47).
R (d) Put the clamps (40) and (42) in position and install the nuts
R (41).
R (e) Install the bonding strap (52) together with the bolt (54), the
R washer (53) and the nut (51) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-003).
R (5) Connect the galley supply
R (Ref. Fig. 402C/TASK 25-31-41-991-014-B)
R (a) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
R (b) Connect the hose (68) of the exhaust air system to the pipe (66)
R and tighten the clamps (67).
R (c) Connect the pipe (65) of the fresh air system to the pipe (63)
R and tighten the clamp (64).
R R (d) Connect the pipe (69) to the T-fitting (73) and tighten the clamp (70).
R R (e) Connect the pipe (72) to the T-fitting (73) and tighten the clamp (71).
R (f) Connect the waste water pipe (77) and tighten the clamps (76).
R (g) Connect the potable water pipe (74) and tighten the nut (75).

F. Operational Test of the Galley Systems
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do a check of the air supply (if installed) and air extraction system:
(a) Do the pre-conditioning with the APU (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001), or the HP ground connection (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001).

(b)
Turn the individual air outlet clockwise until it is in the closed position.
(c)
Air must not come out from the individual air outlet.
(d)
Examine all the air hoses and the connections for leaks.
(e)
Repair all leaks.
(f)
Turn the individual air outlet counterclockwise until it is in the open position.
(g)
Make sure that different airflow is possible when you turn the individual air outlet.
(h)
Make sure that air is extracted through the galley exhaust.
(3) Do a check of the potable water and drain system:
(a)
Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(b)
Examine all the potable water pipes for leaks.
(c)
Repair all leaks.
(d)
Operate the water faucet and make sure that water flows.
