A. Removal of the Galley Unit
(1) Remove the Power Supply
(Ref. Fig. 401B/TASK 25-31-41-991-038-A)
WARNING : WEAR GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE LOCKWIRE. CUT,
_______ REMOVE AND DISCARD THE LOCKWIRE AS YOU DO THE TASK. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT OR BLIND YOU.
(a)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the screws (4).
(b)
Loosen the screws (4) and remove the cover (3). CAUTION : MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU
_______ DISCONNECT THEM. IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR WHEN YOU CONNECT THE WIRES YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(c)
Remove the nuts (5) and the wires (6).
(d)
Remove the nuts (2) and remove the clamps (1) from the wires.
(e)
Remove the bolts (7), the washers (8) and remove the clamps (9) from the wires.
(f)
Remove the nut (13), the bolt (10), the washer (11) and the bonding strap (12).
(2) Disconnect the Potable and Drain Water Connections
(Ref. Fig. 402B/TASK 25-31-41-991-014-A)
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A
_______ PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.
(a)
Open the door (1) and remove the waste container.
(b)
Remove the screws (2) and the access panel (3).
(c)
Push up the insulation, loosen the nut (11) and disconnect the potable water pipe (10) from the supply connection (12).
(d)
Push up the insulation, remove the clamps (14) and disconnect the drain water pipe (15) from the drain connection (13).
(e)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(3)
Disconnect the Air Connections (Ref. Fig. 402B/TASK 25-31-41-991-014-A)
(a)
Remove the clamps (8) and disconnect the hose (7) from the hose (9).
(b)
Remove the clamp (5) and disconnect the hose (4) from the hose (6).
(c)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.

Remove the Upper Attachments (Ref. Fig. 403B/TASK 25-31-41-991-018-A)
(a)
Remove the pelmet (1).
(b)
Release the fasteners (14) and get access to the rear of the panel (13).
(c)
Remove the clamp (11), disconnect the hose (10) from the
individual air outlet (12) and remove the panel (13).
(d)
Remove the quick-release pins (4) and (7) and remove the tie-rods
(2) and (9).
(e)
Remove the nuts (13), the washers (6) and the bolts (7).
(f)
Remove the bolts (6), the washers (5) and the brackets (3) and (8).
(5)
Remove the Lower Attachments (Ref. Fig. 404B/TASK 25-31-41-991-019-A)
WARNING : SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY OR IT WILL FALL AND BECOME
_______ DAMAGED OR INJURE PERSONNEL. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY.
(a)
Remove the screws (2) and the strips (1).
(b)
Remove the screws (10) and the covers (9).
(c)
Remove the bolts (3), the washers (4) and the plates (5).
(d)
Remove the shims (6). NOTE : Identify the position and number of the shims (6) for the

installation procedure.
(e)
Remove the eccentric plugs (8) and the eccentric bushes (7).
(f)
Carefully lift the galley off the blocks (13) and move it to the center of the aircraft.
(g)
Remove the shims (16). NOTE : Identify the position and number of the shims (16) for the
____
installation procedure.
(h)
Remove the bolts (15) and the washers (14).
(i)
Remove the blocks (13).
(j)
Remove and discard the packings (12).
(k) Remove the bushes (11).

B. Disconnect the Galley Splitline NOTE : This procedure is only necessary if you must remove the galley

from the cabin.
NOTE : The galley splitline bolts and screws are painted red.
