Put the galley header in the correct position.

Install the screws to attach the brackets at each end of the header.

Make sure the seal is in the correct position.

To install the galley light, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Put the light in the correct position.
(b)
Install the screws to attach the light to the galley header.
(c)
Connect the wires to the light.
(d)
Install the light bulbs.
(e)
Install the screws to attach the lightshield to the light.

Install the curtain.
(6)
Connect the electrical cable to the light assembly.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:

LAVATORIES - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

General
_______
A. Lavatory compartments are installed in the passenger cabin as shown in figure 1.
(1) Some airplanes have modular lavatories. Earlier airplanes have
lavatories of piece meal construction.Modular Lavatories
__________________
A. Lavatories are of one basic piece construction, have a single wire bundle connection and are installed as a basic unit.
B. Modular construction facilitates removal/installation.
(1) All lavatory modules are bolted to floor brackets and attached to overhead structure with adjustable tie rods.
(a)
Lavatory "A" floor bolts are accessible from outside the lavatory module.
(b)
Lavatory "D" and "E" floor bolts are accessible from outside the lavatory.
C. Lavatory floor is of watertight fiberglass construction to prevent
corrosion.Non-Modular Lavatories

A. Lavatory equipment covered in this section consists of: the dispenser panel assembly, sink cabinet assembly, lavatory partitions (walls), lavatory door and header, sidewall and ceiling lining panels, and floor covering.
B. The lavatory toilet units, washbasins and associated equipment and plumbing are covered in Chapter 38, Water and Waste.
C. The sink cabinet assembly contains the washbasin and water system plumbing, a waste disposal chute, a call panel, and dispenser compartments for soap, toilet seat covers, sanitary napkins, air sickness bags and toilet tissue. For the forward lavatory and lavatory forward of aft entry door, the sink cabinet also contains dispenser compartments for cleaning tissue, paper towels, and paper cups.
Dispenser Panel (Fig. 1)

A. In the aft lavatories, a dispenser panel located above the washbasin contains the dispenser compartments for paper towels, cleaning tissues, and paper cups.
Toilet Back Shroud (Fig. 1)

A. The toilet back shroud, located above the toilet, houses the toilet flush
switch and toilet timer.Forward Lavatory Partitions

A. The forward lavatory partition, as covered in this section, consists of
the aft lavatory wall.Aft Lavatory Partitions

A. The aft lavatory partitions, as covered in this section, consist of the
forward transverse partition and the inboard longitudinal partition.Door and Header

A. The lavatory door is hinged on the lavatory partition or adjacent partition to allow outward opening of the door. The door header is attached to each doorway partition.
