FORWARD GALLEY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The first task gives the instructions to remove a forward galley.
(2)
The second task gives the instructions to install a forward galley.
B. These tasks are for galleys No. 1 and 2.
C. Be careful to not cause damage to the moisture barrier which is on the floor panels in the galley area.

C. Procedure

(1)
Open the GALLEY lights circuit breaker on the panel P18-3 and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

(2)
Open the FORWARD GALLEY circuit breakers (3 locations) on the P6 panel and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags.

Remove the pressure from the passenger water system
(AMM 38-41-00/201).

Drain the water from the galley.
(5)
Remove the curtain track and header assembly (AMM 25-31-83/401).
(6)
Remove the equipment and objects from the galley.

Disconnect the electrical power and water supply from their connections in the ceiling above the galley.
(8)
Disconnect the ground jumper wire from the top of the galley.

Loosen the hose clamp and remove the drain hose from the drain adapter.

Remove the sealant from around the drain floor adapter and remove the drain adapter.

Remove the floor (seat track) attachment fittings:
(a)
Remove the cover plate.
(b)
Remove the grease from the attachment well until you can get access to the fitting.
(c)
Remove the setscrew from the anchor flange.
(d)
Remove the anchor flange.
