 CARGO COMPARTMENT CEILING LINING - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is the removal of the ceiling lining. The second task is the installation of the ceiling lining.
 B.  The ceiling lining for the cargo compartment consists of many panels. When you do maintenance procedures in the cargo compartment, it is possible that you will remove some of these panels.
 C.  The ceiling linings in the forward and aft cargo compartments are almost the same. Some linings have openings for blowout panels and lights.
 D.  The removal and installation procedures are for the lining in the forward and the aft cargo compartments.

 2.  Remove the Ceiling Lining (Fig. 401)_________________________

 B.  Procedure
 S 034-002
 (1)  
Remove and discard the tape from the fasteners and seams of the lining.

 S 034-003

 (2)  
Remove the shrouds around the lights and the other ceiling mounted equipment.

 (3)  
Remove the blowout panels, if they are installed (AMM 21-32-41/401).

 (4)  
Remove the fasteners and the cap strips.
