(6) S 424-013Put new tape on all of the seams and fasteners.
NOTE:____ Do not use the tape more than one time or you will not get a satisfactory bond.
(7) S 424-015If you install a new lining, install the blowout panels (AMM 21-32-41/401) and the heat shroud panels.
NOTE:____ Some linings do not have blowout panels or heat shroud panels.
(8) S 424-016Install the shrouds around the ceiling mounted equipment.

CARGO COMPARTMENT SIDEWALL LINING - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is the removal of the sidewall lining for the cargo compartment. The second task is the installation of the sidewall lining for the cargo compartment.
B. The sidewall lining for the cargo compartment consists of fiberglass panels. When you do maintenance procedures in the cargo compartment, it is possible that you will remove the sidewall lining.

2. Remove the Sidewall Lining for the Cargo Compartment (Fig. 401)____________________________________________________

B. Procedure

(1)
Remove the anchor plates and the cap strips from the sidewall lining.

(2)
Remove and discard the tape.
(3)
Remove the screws that hold the sidewall lining.

Make a note of the different screw lengths to permit an easier installation.
(5)
Pull the velcro tape apart.
