Pull the floor mat from the edge retainers on the galley and remove the carpet from the bottom of the galley.

Remove the external fillet seal from the bottom of the galley.

For galley No. 3 or 4B, lift the galley until you can remove the stabilizer fitting and the floor seal from the bottom of the galley, if it is installed.

(1) If galley No. 4B is not assembled, assemble it with the galley manufacturer's instructions. Obey these instructions to apply the sealant: (a) Apply Dow Corning 30-121 sealant on the mating surfaces along all of the split joint from the internal edge outboard, 0.25-inch wide minimum. Make the sealant a 0.06-inch maximum
fillet or bead. Do not let the sealant you can see stay on the external surfaces.
(b) (c) Fill the clearances adjacent to the stainless steel areas with RTV 109 - silver gray.Fill the clearances in all other areas with translucent light gray, RTV 157 - dove gray (light), or RTV 3145 - medium gray, to match the color.

(2) Clean the moisture barrier that is on the floor in the galley area.

(3) Repair the moisture barrier if it is necessary (Ref Chapter 53, Passenger Cabin Floor).
