Put a small diameter rod (less than 0.11 inch) into the manual-release hole and push to release the latch.

11. Latch Adjustment (Fig. 201)

A. Access
(1) Location Zones
100 Upper Half of Fuselage
B. Procedure

(1)
Adjust the clearance between the door and the latch pawl covers, if it is necessary
(a)
Adjust the door horizontally in the center of the stowage compartment.
(b)
Lightly close the door and adjust the strikers on the door.
1) The latch pawls must fully engage with the striker rollers on the door.
(c)
When the two latch pawls are fully engaged with the door striker rollers, 1) The latch actuator handle will come out of the latch
housing to the dimension shown on detail C.
(d)
The door is not fully engaged and latched if the dimension is less than the minimum dimension shown on detail C.
(2)
The door must latch at the ends when closed with a light force.

NOTE: A light force must be applied on the latch striker at one

of the two ends of the door.

(3) Tighten the fasteners on the striker plate after you complete the latch adjustment.

Remove the pin and the hook from the PSU extrusion support.

Remove the curtain, if installed.

Remove the screws to remove each support clamp assembly from the A/C extrusion.
