Remove the fasteners that attach the sink cabinet to the lavatory wall and the floor.

Lift the sink cabinet and remove from the lavatory.

If you will replace the sink cabinet, remove the support angles of the toilet shroud and the other equipment as it is necessary.

D. Procedure
S 394-014
(1) Prepare the floor or drip pan area below the sink cabinet for the BMS 5-95, Class B sealant as follows:
(a)
Clean the area with solvent.
(b)
Use sandpaper on all enamel that you will seal.
S 394-015
(2) Apply the BMS 5-95, Class B sealant:
(a) Apply a bead of the sealant to all cracks, joints and internal corners.
S 394-031
(3)
Apply a layer of BMS 5-108, Type 1, Class B-2 sealant to the floor to a thickness of 0.020 to 0.030 inch for corrosion protection.
(4)
If removed, install the support angles of the toilet shroud.

(5) S 434-017Put the sink cabinet in its position.
(6) S 424-018Install the fasteners to connect the cabinet to the lavatory wall and the floor.
(7) S 394-019Apply the BMS 5-95, Class B sealant between the cabinet base fasteners and the cabinet base.
(8) S 434-020Connect the water system.
