Loosen the wing nuts and turn the clamps to install the panel.

(2)
Put the retaining springs into the index holes on the air outlet extrusion.
(3)
Apply the pressure in the outboard direction and turn the panel up.

(4)
Turn the clamps to engage the support structure and tighten the wing nuts.

(5)
Retract the adjacent PSUs to the closed position and make sure the automatic latches engaged.

6. Spacer Panel Removal (For a three piece adjustable panel) (Fig. 201)

Lower the adjacent panel.

Push the latch extension of the cam latches and pull downward on the panel bases until all latches are disengaged from the bin rail.

Lower the inboard edge of the spacer panel while pulling the panel inboard to remove index springs from the air outlet extrusion.

7. Spacer Panel Installation (For a three piece adjustable panel)(Fig. 201)

(1) Adjust the panel to the required width.
NOTE: This can be done by grasping the panel slider while pushing
____ and /or pulling on the base panel. Then repeat to adjust the other panel base. Use the raised numbers on the slider panel to obtain the proper width adjustment.

Locate the index springs into the air outlet extrusion holes.

(3)
Push the inboard edge of the spacer panel outboard and upward until the cam latches engage the bin rail.

(4)
Push the panel bases apart to close any remaining gaps with the adjacent panels.

(5)
Apply upward pressure to the panel base under the cam latches to fully engage the latches.
NOTE: The latches will generally make a "click" sound upon full

engagement.

(1) Lower the panel adjacent to the panel slider side of the spacer panel that is being removed until the spring clips no longer grasp the adjacent panel wall.
NOTE: A termination panel is one which is against a stowage bin
