12. PSUs Adjustment (Fig. 201)

(1) Adjust the PSUs
(a)
Lower the PSUs and the adjacent spacer panels.
(b)
Disengage the index pin on the support clamp from the index hole on the air outlet extrusion.
(c)
Move the outboard support clamps and the PSUs forward or aft to install the PSUs at the necessary position.
(d)
Engage the index pin on the support clamp with the index hole in the air duct outlet
NOTE: The forward end of the PSUs is 28.00 |4.00 inches
____ forward of the lines between the seat cushion and the seat back.
CAUTION: PUT THE WIRE-BUNDLE/GASPER-HOSE BRACKET 7 1/2 | 4
_______ INCHES FORWARD OF THE AFT EDGE OF THE PSU's PANEL. THE WIRE-BUNDLE/GASPER-HOSE BRACKET WILL CUT THE OXYGEN HOSE IF THE BRACKET IS PUT ADJACENT TO THE OXYGEN GENERATOR.
(e)
Attach the wire-bundle/gasper-hose bracket 7 1/2 | 4 inches forward of the aft edge of the PSUs panel.
(f)
Make sure the PSUs is not twisted or free to move when the unit is in the closed position. 1) Make sure the cold air hose does not have kinks or too much
bend.
(g)
If it is necessary, move the wire bundle, or the cold air hose to a new outlet along the sidewall.
(h)
Lift the adjacent spacer panels. 1) Retract and latch the PSUs in the closed position.

(2) Adjust the clearance between the PSUs and the overhead stowage bin
(a)
Close and latch the PSUs and the adjacent spacer panels if they are open.
(b)
Put a 1/8-inch Allen wrench into the latch adjustment bolt.
NOTE: Get access through the access hole in the inboard
____ corners of the unit and in the bottom of the latch.
Be careful not to cause scratches on the surface around the latch access hole of the PSUs.
(c)
Turn the bolt to lift or lower the unit, if it is necessary to align the clearance correctly.
(d)
Remove the wrench.
