C. Remove the Window Shade and Reveal Assembly (Without Hole in the Trim Ring)

Move the shade to the closed position.

Insert a skin wedge tool, or available similar tool, in the corner under the lower edge of the window shade and reveal assembly, push the tool down to disengage the latch.
NOTE: If you use a screwdriver, be careful not to damage the

window reveal or the wall panel.

CAUTION: DO NOT CATCH THE RUBBER SEAL ON THE LATCH ASSEMBLY WHEN YOU
_______ REMOVE THE WINDOW REVEAL ASSEMBLY. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RUBBER SEAL.

Carefully move the tool to the opposite corner of the window shade and reveal assembly and pull out the assembly approximately 1 inch from its seated position.

Use the skin wedge release tool to keep the latch disengaged and pull out the lower edge if the window shade and reveal assembly until it is free of the sidewall panel.

Remove the window shade and reveal assembly from the panel.
