6. Miscellaneous Equipment (Fig. 1)

A. Miscellaneous equipment includes the following:
(1) Pilots' seat adjustment sight guide on windshield center post which consists of two forward orange spheres and one white sphere. When either seat is adjusted to eye position, where white sphere aligns with orange sphere, the seat occupant has a maximum field of view (AMM 25-11-11).
CAUTION: SUNVISOR SHOULD NOT BE PLACED BETWEEN WINDOW AND THERMAL

There are two sunvisors of green transparent plastic at each pilot's station. They attach above the No. 1 and No. 2 right and left windows or fit into the eyebrow windows.
(3)
Certificate and license holders are attached to the forward side of the control cabin door.
7. Captain's and First Officer's Seats (Fig. 1)

A. The Captain's and First Officer's seats are opposite assemblies. The main components are a base, bottom, back and safety harness.
B. The base is bolted to the floor and supports the bottom and back.
C. Manual seat adjustments include release to enable fore-and-aft adjustment, seat bottom angle, seat back recline, armrest foldback and seat height (seat height is also adjustable electrically).
D. The seat has inertia shoulder harness, crotch strap and lap belt.
8. First Observer's Seat (Fig. 1)

A. The seat bottom is hinged at right side to edge of recess. Pins at left side engage latch plates at adjacent wall.
B. The seat back is hinged to seat bottom. An upper cushion can slide up and down with respect to lower cushion. The seat back has pins at left and right which engage catch plates at adjacent walls.
C. The seat has fixed shoulder harness, crotch strap and lap belt.
9. Floor Covering

A. The compartment floor, where exposed, has a nonskid paint finish.
10. Lining and Insulation

A. Lining panels cover wall and ceiling areas, except areas covered by instrument panels, circuit breaker panels and the flight compartment bulkhead (Fig. 2).
(1) Panels are of formed thermoplastic sheet, attached by quick-release fasteners or screws.
