NOTE: If the damage area is more than 25 percent of the total

(1) Clean the damaged area with MEK, isopropyl alcohol, or ethyl alcohol.
NOTE: Permit the cleaned fabric to dry until you smell no solvent.

Cut a patch of the fabric to put covers on the area.

Apply a large quantity of the adhesive to the area and to the patch.
(4)
When the adhesive is tacky, push the patch tightly on the area.
