Apply the Alkaline Emulsion solvent with an airless pump. Let the solvent soak for five minutes, but do not let it dry.

Apply more solvent and use the vacuum until the surfaces are clean.

Flush the area with clean water. Use pressure to apply the water.

Remove the water with a vacuum.

Do a pH check of the remaining water. Do this check in more than one area.

Do a pH check of the clean water.

 A.  The procedure that follows contains two tasks. The first task is the removal of the deck panels in the cargo compartment. The second task is the installation of the deck panels in the cargo compartment.

Remove the splice plates.

Pull the cap strips away from the tape.

Remove the scuff plate.

Remove the screws from the deck panel.

Pull the deck panel away from the tape.
