B. Remove the Recline and Lock Mechanism

Remove the seat bottom cushion.

Remove the pin from the lock yoke below the forward edge of the seat bottom.
(3)
Remove the recline control from the mechanism/lock.

Remove the adjustment bolt and the recline mechanism/lock on the seat back.

NOTE: Keep all washers, spacers, and bushings with the adjustment

(5) If a new mechanism/lock is to be installed, remove the yoke.

Install the yoke on the new mechanism/lock.

Install the mechanism/lock and the adjustment bolt on the seat back.

Attach the recline control to the mechanism/lock.

Install the yoke and the pin.

Put the adjustment bolt in the slot and adjust the seat back in the vertical position.
