If removed, install the trim strip.

Put the panel into its position, put into the trim strip and align with the attachment brackets on the forward and aft partitions.

(3)
Put the electrical wires of the dispenser cabinet through the grommet to the inboard side of the panel.
(4)
Install the panel fasteners at the forward and aft panel edges.
(5)
Install the disposal and dispenser cabinets.
(6)
Install the speaker (AMM 23-31-13/401).
(7)
Install the gasper air outlet (Ref Chapter 21, Air Conditioning).

A. This procedure contains these tasks:
(1)
The removal of the Forward Lavatory Ceiling Panel.
(2)
The installation of the Forward Lavatory Ceiling Panel.

2. Forward Lavatory Ceiling Panel - Removal (Fig. 401)

C. Procedure
S 864-002
(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P18 Panel 1) Lavatory Dome Light 2) All the circuit breakers of the oxygen system.

Disconnect the mask box oxygen generator (AMM 35-22-11/201).

(3)
Remove the snap-in plug buttons and remove the panel attachment screws.

(4)
Push up on the ceiling panel until the panel disconnects from the strip, then lower the panel until you can get the electrical wires.
NOTE: The ceiling panel and the trim strip are attached with

tape.

Disconnect the electrical wires from the light.
(6)
Remove the ceiling panel.

If you will replace the ceiling panel, remove the service unit and the dome light and keep them in a safe location.
