(1) To remove the lanyard in the control cabin, do these steps:
(a)
Open the cover to show the escape lanyard.
(b)
Lift the anchor against the spring and disengage the anchor stud from the structure.
(c)
Remove the escape lanyard and the anchor assembly.

B. Procedure

(1) To install the escape lanyard in the control cabin, do these steps:
(a)
Engage the anchor stud in the anchor fitting.
(b)
Make sure the anchor is not loose.
(c)
Wind the escape lanyard into a coil.
(d)
Hold the coil in its position and close the cover.
(e)
Make sure the latch holds the cover closed.
