C. Procedure
(1) S 222-077Make sure the airplane is on the level (Ref 8-11-00/201).
(2) S 822-079Attach one end of a string or filament line to the center of the protractor.
(3) S 212-080Install the protractor. (a) Pull the string tight. (b) Attach the free end to the floor, in the middle of the seat tracks in the passenger cabin area.
(4) S 212-081Make sure the angles A and B shown in Fig. 204 are equal in |1/2°. (a) Make sure the view guide is on the level.
(5) S 822-082Add or remove the shims if it is necessary to adjust the view guide.

(1) This task is only applicable for Ipeco Captain and First Officer seat track installation, alignment, and lock mechanism adjustments.

(1) 1T900-0107 Setting Fixture (IPECO P/N) - for seat P/N 3A090-0019, P/N 3A090-0020 and P/N 3A059. 0T900-0247 Setting Fixture (IPECO P/N) - for seat P/N 3A090-0021, and P/N 3A090-0022.
D. Procedure

(1) Install the tracks in the correct positions.
NOTE: You should remove stops that extend above the top surface.

(a)
Do not tighten the bolts.
(b)
Put the track setting fixture in position over the seat tracks.
(c)
Apply a slight downward pressure.
NOTE: The locating pins of the fixture should fully engage in
____ the holes in the top surface of each track.
(d)
Tighten all the mounting bolts accessible through and around the edge of the fixture.
(e)
Remove the fixture.
(f)
Tighten all the remaining bolts.
