Turn the plunger down with your hand until it bottoms-out in the floor track, then turn it back one thread from the bottom.
(d)
Tighten the jamnut on the plunger from 95 to 110 pound-inches.
(e)
Install the anchor flange and tighten it from 30 to 50 pound-inches.
NOTE: Make sure you can see a minimum of one external thread
____ on the anchor fitting after you tighten the flange.
(f)
Install the lockscrew in its hole in the anchor flange, to go in the floor track. Turn the lockscrew until it bottoms-out in the floor track and then turn it back one thread.
(g)
Fill the attachment well fully with a corrosion preventive compound.
(h)
Install the gasket and the cover on the galley attachment well.

(6) Install the floor (hard-point) attachment fittings:
(a)
Find the stabilizer fitting on the galley and put the galley in its position on the tiedown fittings.
(b)
Lift the galley, approximately 1/4 inch, and bond the floor seals to the galley with BAC 5010 type 60 adhesive.
(c)
Install the floor attachment tiedown fasteners and the access covers.
(d)
Install the stabilizer fitting with a sealant between the floor and the bottom of the fitting.
(e)
Apply the sealant between the screws and fitting, and on the screw heads.
(f)
Install the kick strip, and the retainers.

(7) Install the galley floor drain adapter. Connect the drain hose.

(8) Apply sealant around the galley drain adapter.

(9) Install the tie rod assembly at the top of the galley:
NOTE:____ Get access through the top of the galley.
(a) Adjust the tie rod assembly until you can install the bolts.
NOTE:____ Adjust only the end of the assembly without the
lockwasher and lockwire.
Make sure you can see threads through the inspection
hole in the tie rod body.
(b) Tighten the nut at the end you adjusted to remove all the slack
from the threads.
(c) Install the tie rod assembly to the attachment fittings on top
of the galley and to the airplane structure.
NOTE:____ The moisture trap must be at the top.

Clean the external side of the bottom of the galley and the floor with solvent. Apply a fillet seal around the external surface of the bottom of the galley, where you can get access.

Install the galley seal and the seal retainer.
