C. Procedure

(1)
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P18 Panel
1) Lavatory Dome Light
2) Oxygen System
(2)
Set the mask box oxygen generator to off (Ref 35-22-11/201).

(3)
Remove the snap-in plug buttons and remove the panel attachment screws.
(4)
Lower the panel until you can get access to the electrical wires.

(5)
Disconnect the electrical wires from the light and passenger address speaker, and tag the wires for installation.

(6)
Disconnect the electrical wires to the door latch actuator of the oxygen mask box (Ref 35-22-21/401).
(7)
Remove the ceiling panel.

(8) If you will replace the ceiling panel, remove the service unit and the dome light and keep them for subsequent use.

If it is neccessary, install the service unit and the dome light in the ceiling panel.

Put the panel in its position and temporarily attach it.

(3)
Connect the dome light and the electrical wires of the passenger address speaker.

(4)
Connect the electrical wires to the oxygen mask box latch (Ref 35-22-21/401).

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P18 Panel
1) Lavatory Dome Light
2) Oxygen System

Make sure the lavatory dome light is on.

Remove the temporary ties, put the panel into its position, and install the panel attachment screws.
