Clean all the mating surface with the methyl ethyl ketone , isopropyl alcohol, or ethyl alcohol .

Apply a thin smooth brush layer of the adhesive to the metal and the foam mating surfaces.

Permit the adhesive to dry until it becomes tacky but does not move to the finger.
NOTE: This time will be shown by a color change from a light brown
____ color to a transparent amber color. It is faster to dry the water base of the adhesive with an air blower.
