A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

Put the access platform below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Remove the generator scavange filter (8069KM)
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the differential pressure switch.
(2)
Put the container below the oil filter housing (4).
(3)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the filter housing (4).
(4)
Remove the filter housing (4) with the filter element (2).
(5)
Remove and discard the filter element (2) from the filter housing (4).
(6)
Remove and discard the O-rings (1) and (3). Subtask 49-91-41-420-050
B.
Installation of the Alternator Scavenge Filter Element (8069KM)
(1)
Apply a thin layer of OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new O-ring (1).
(2)
Install the new O-ring (1) to the new filter element (2).
(3)
Apply a thin layer of OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new O-ring (3).
(4)
Install the new O-ring (4) to the filter housing (4).
