Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the oil level switch (8087KM) (5).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Remove the bolt (3), the bracket (4) and the washer (2) which attach the oil level switch (8087KM) (5) to the accessory drive gearbox.
(5)
Put a blanking plug in the open port of the accessory drive gearbox.
(6)
Remove and discard the O-ring (6).

Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Installation of the Oil Level Switch (8087KM)
(1)
Remove the blanking plug from the accessory drive gearbox.
(2)
Apply a thin layer of lubricant OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new O-ring (6).
(3)
Install the new O-ring (6) on the oil level switch (8087KM) (5).
(4)
Put the oil level switch (8087KM) (5) in position and install the bracket (4), the washer (2) and the bolt (3).
(5)
TORQUE the bolt (3) to 0.56 m.daN (49.55 lbf.in).
(6)
Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector.
