(1)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(2)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(3)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4)
Make sure that ground fire extinguishing equipment is available.
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6)
Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).

A. Installation of the Drain Plug (8077KM)
(1)
Apply a thin layer of lubricant OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new o-ring (4).
(2)
Install the new o-ring (4) on the drain plug (8077KM) (1).
(3)
Install the drain plug (8077KM) (1) in the gearbox housing assembly.
(4)
TORQUE the drain plug to 0.56 m.daN (49.55 lbf.in).
(5)
Safety the drain plug with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel 0.8 mm
(0.032 in) dia.
(6)
Fill the APU oil system (Ref. TASK 49-90-00-600-001). Subtask 49-91-42-865-051
B.
Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD

C. Start and Operate the APU.
(1)
Close the APU access doors (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(2)
Start the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-003).
(3)
Allows the APU to run 5 minutes.
(4)
Shutdown the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-004).
