Blow excess water out of the cooler matrix with compressed air, use a maximum pressure of 2.0 bar (29.0075 psi)
(b)
Shine a light through the matrix and check that it is clean and free from contamination.
(c)
Repeat the cleaning procedure if required, do not exceed total immersion time of four hours.
NOTE : If cooler cannot be cleaned properly, return cooler to

workshop.

WARNING : WEAR THERMAL INSULATED GLOVES WHEN HANDLING HEATED OR

CHILLED PARTS TO PREVENT INJURY TO HANDS.
(a)
Remove as much water as possible from the cooler with the
compressed air.
(b)
Remove the blanking plugs from the oil inlet and outlet ports.
(c)
Put the cooler into an oven at the temperature of 121 deg.C
(249.80 deg.F) plus/minus 14 deg.C (57.20 deg.F)
(d)
Leave the cooler in the oven for a minimum of 2 hours or until the cooler is dry
(e)
Remove the cooler from the oven and while still hot, blow
compressed air through it to remove any trapped moisture.
(f)
Repeat the drying process until the cooler is completely dry.
(g)
Install the oil cooler (Ref. TASK 49-91-44-400-004)

Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(4)
Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(5)
Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 49-91-44-865-074

Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD

Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.

De-energize the ground service network
