Remove the blanking plug from the gearbox port.

Install the LOP switch (2) in the gearbox.

Tighten the bolt (4).

Remove the container.

Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

Start and operate the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(2)
Let the APU run for 5 minutes to check the System Report/Test on the MCDU.
NOTE : The SYSTEM SELF-TEST page must not show LOP switch.

Shut down the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(4)
Do a leak check of the LOP switch.
NOTE : No leaks are permitted.

Energize the aircraft electrical circuits

On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
