(a) Operate the APU for min. five minutes and examine the joints of the de-oiling solenoid valve for leaks.

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the off position.
(3)
Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4)
Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 49-91-49-860-052

Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.
(Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).

Energize the ground service network

On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

A. Removal of the Oil Sump Temperature-Sensor (8084KM)
(1)
Put the container in position below the oil sump.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connection (1).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Remove the bolt (2) and the washer (3) which attach the oil sump temperature-sensor (8084KM) (4) to the oil sump.
(5)
Remove the oil sump temperature-sensor (8084KM) (4).
