On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.

Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

A. Removal of the Data Memory Module CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE DATA ARE ERASED FROM THE MEMORY OF THE
_______ REPLACEMENT DATA MEMORY MODULE. IF THE DATA STAY IN THE REPLACEMENT MODULE, THEY WILL ERASE THE LIFE DATA IN THE ECB FOR THE APU ON THE AIRCRAFT. THE ECB WILL THEN CALCULATE THE LIFE DATA OF A DIFFERENT APU.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the module (4).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Remove the bolts (2) and the washers (3) from the module (4).
(4)
Remove the module (4) from the APU.
