(1)
Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.
(Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

(1)
Put the access platform below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Make sure that the light SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.

A. Removal of the Encoder (8063KM)
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the encoder (8063KM) (2).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Remove the screws (3), the nuts (4) and the washers (5) from the encoder (8063KM) (2).
(4)
Remove the encoder (8063KM) (2) from the bracket (6).
