On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.

Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

A. Visual Inspection (APU Compartment)
(1)
Examine the Bellows for torn or cracks. If defective, remove the Exhaust Muffler (Ref. TASK 49-81-41-000-003) and continue as per (Ref. CMM 498141).
(2)
Examine the Thermal Insulation for
-Torn,
-Cracks,
-Partially Loosend,
-Discoloration.
If defective, remove Exhaust Muffler (Ref. TASK 49-81-41-000-003) and
continue as per (Ref. CMM 498141).
(3)
If removed, install new/repaired Exhaust Muffler (Ref. TASK 49-81-41-400-003).
