_________ Subtask 49-91-44-140-050
A. Cleaning of the Installed Oil Cooler
(1)
Prepare a cleaning fluid, 2 liters of CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-013A) to 20 liters of demineralized or good quality drinking water.
(2)
Put the prepared cleaning fluid into a pressurized container with control valve.
(3)
Equip the pressurized container with a hose and adjustable spray nozzle.
(4)
Pressurize the container to 30 psi.
(5)
Adjust the nozzle to produce a fine spray.
(6)
Direct the spray nozzle into the top of the oil cooler matrix. Spray the oil cooler air passages with the cleaning fluid, maintain a minimum pressure of 20 psi (1.3789 bar).
(7)
Let the cleaning fluid dwell on the matrix for 10 to 15 minutes.
(8)
Flush the matrix with clean warm water.
(9)
Repeat the procedure until the matrix air passages are free of contamination.
(10)
Dry the air passages with compressed air at pressure not more than 60 psi (4.1368 bar).
(11)
Dry the exterior of the oil cooler with a clean, lint-free cloth.
(12)
Clean inside the cooler exhaust duct and the fan outlet duct, use a cloth dampened with the cleaning solution. Blow dry with compressed air.
(13)
