IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES : -FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES. -GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
CAUTION : DO NOT CLEAN THE OIL FILTER ELEMENTS. YOU MUST DISCARD
_______ THEM AND INSTALL NEW FILTER ELEMENTS. IF YOU CLEAN THE OIL FILTER ELEMENTS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THEM. THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE APU.
1 Clean the magnetic element in the CLEANING AGENTS (Material
_
No. 11-002).
2 Dry the magnetic element with a clean, lint-free cloth.
_
3 Replace the oil filters (Ref. TASK 49-91-41-920-002) and
_
(Ref. TASK 49-91-41-920-001).
4 Install the magnetic element (Ref. TASK 49-91-42-400-002).
_
5 Do the servicing to change the oil in the APU oil reservoir
_
(Ref. TASK 49-90-00-600-005).
6 APU operation
_
a Start the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-005) and operate it
_
for 15 minutes.
b Do the APU shutdown procedure (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-006).
_
7 Remove the magnetic element (Ref. TASK 49-91-42-000-002).
_
8 Remove the oil filters for inspection (Ref. TASK 49-91-41-920-
_ 001) and (Ref. TASK 49-91-41-920-002).
9 Inspect the magnetic element and the oil filter elements under
_ a source of white light for metal particles.
a If you find any metal particles on the magnetic element or
_
the oil filter elements:
-
Install the magnetic element in the drain plug (Ref. TASK 49-91-42-400-002).
-
Install the oil filters (Ref. TASK 49-91-41-920-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-91-41-920-002).
-Replace the APU (Ref. TASK 49-11-11-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 49-11-11-400-003).
b If you do not find any metal particles on the magnetic
_ element or in the oil filter elements :
-
Install the oil filters (Ref. TASK 49-91-41-920-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-91-41-920-002).
-
Install the magnetic element in the drain plug (Ref. TASK 49-91-42-400-002).
NOTE : Make entries in the logbook:
____
-that a check for metal particles was made, and what the result of the check was.
(c) If you find metal particles larger than 1.50 mm (0.0590 in.):
1 Install the magnetic element in the drain plug (Ref. TASK 49-
_
91-42-400-002).
2 Replace the APU (Ref. TASK 49-11-11-000-003) and (Ref. TASK
_
49-11-11-400-003).

Close the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.
(Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
