A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR and (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT control SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Removal of the Oil Cooler
(1)
Remove the clamp (4) and disconnect the air outlet duct (5) from the oil cooler (3).
(2)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected duct (5) and the oil cooler (3).
(3)
Put the container below the bypass valve (6).
(4)
Loosen the nuts (13) from the pipe clamps (8) and (11).
(5)
Turn the clamps (8) and (11) to free the pipes (9) and (10).
(6)
Pull the pipes (9) and (10) out of the bypass valve (6) and remove and discard the O-rings (7) and (12).
(7)
Loosen the captive bolts (2).
(8)
Support the oil cooler (3) and loosen the bolts (1).
(9)
Remove the oil cooler (3) from the APU.
(10) Put the oil cooler (3) over the container and drain.
