 A. Installation of the Magnetic Drain Plug.
 (1)
 Lubricate the new O-ring (2) with OILS (Material No. 03-002).

 (2)
 Install the new O-ring on the drain plug (1).

 (3)
 Position the drain plug (1) in the gearbox.


 (4)
 Push, turn and release the plug to secure in gearbox. Subtask 49-91-42-865-065

 B.
 Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD


 Subtask 49-91-42-710-052
 C. Start and Operate the APU.
 (1)
 Close the APU access doors (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

 (2)
 Start the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-008).

 (3)
 Allow the APU to run for 5 minutes.

 (4)
 Shutdown the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-009).

 (5)
 Open the APU access doors 315AL, 136AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).

 (6)
 Check the drain plug for leaks.
 NOTE : Leaks are not permitted.

 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

 Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.

 (4)
 Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).


 (5)
 Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 49-91-42-860-061

 B.
 Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

 (1)
 Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.
 (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).


 (2)
 De-energize the ground service network
 (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).


 (3)
 Remove the warning notice(s).
