A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(2)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(3)
Make sure that ground fire extinguishing equipment is available.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6)
Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7)
Make sure that the container is in position below the
temperature/pressure assembly (6).

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the High Oil-Temperature Switch (8090KM)
(1)
Apply a thin layer of lubricant OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new o-ring (5).
(2)
Install the new o-ring (5) on the high oil-temperature switch (8090KM) (4).
(3)
Remove the blanking plug from the temperature/pressure assembly (6).
(4)
Install the high oil-temperature switch (8090KM) (4) to the temperature/pressure assembly (6).
(5)
Install the washer (3) and the bolt (2).
(6)
Remove the container.
(7)
TORQUE the bolt (2) to 0.56 m.daN (49.55 lbf.in).
(8)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connections.
(9)
Connect the electrical connection (1) to the high oil-temperature switch (8090KM) (4).

B. Do a visual check of the oil quantity. Add oil if the oil level is on or below the ADD mark on the sight glass. (Ref. TASK 49-90-00-600-001)

D. Start and Operate the APU to check the System Report/Test on the MCDU
(1)
Start and operate the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-003).
(2)
Allow the APU to run for 5 minutes to check the System Report/Test on the MCDU.
NOTE : The SYSTEM SELF-TEST page must not show high oil-temperature

switch.
(3)
Shutdown the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-004).
(4)
Do a leak check of the high oil-temperature switch.
NOTE : No leaks are permitted.
