 (1)
 Make sure that the warning notice is in position on the panel 25VU to tell persons not to start the APU.

 (2)
 Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU access door 316AR.

 (3)
 Make sure that the access doors 315AL, 316AR are open.

 A. Installation of the APU Oil Heater
 (1)
 Make sure that the oil heater attachment pad is free from cracks and damage.

 (2)
 Remove the plastic blanking plug from the APU oil heater-flange on the accessory drive gearbox.

 (3)
 Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (4)
 Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (5)
 Lubricate the new O-ring (5) with OILS (Material No. 03-002) or OILS (Material No. 03-003).

 (6)
 Install the new O-ring (5) on the APU oil heater (4).

 (7)
 Put the APU oil heater (4) in position and install the washers (1) and the bolts (2).

 (8)
 TORQUE the bolts (2) to 50 lbf.in (0.56 m.daN).

 (9)
 Remove and discard the cable tie which temporarily holds the wiring harness connector (3) P28.

 (10)
 Remove the plastic blanking caps from the disconnected electrical connectors.

 (a)
 Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

 (b)
 Connect the wiring harness connector (3) P28 to the APU oil heater (4).

 (c)
 Tighten the wiring harness connector (3) P28 with your hand. NOTE : Make sure that the color lock indicator is aligned.

 

 (11)
 Fill the APU oil reservoir (Ref. TASK 49-90-00-600-001).

 (12)
 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD, 1KT.
